On November 19, 2013 the City of Sunnyvale Council voted 4-3 to sell the Raynor Park Activity Center buildings to a private for-profit school over the proposals from two public school districts. We believe that the Raynor Activity Center Sale violates one or more statutes of California’s Public Park Preservation Act of 1971. Additionally, we believe that the City failed to comply with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
